Newborn Photography

I have a cozy and comfortable studio in my home near Mechanicsburg, PA (Camp Hill) where I focus on baby photography. My studio is all set up with props and accessories for my tiny clients.

Yes! This is such a memorable and precious time for your family, and we want to make sure we’ve included and captured everyone together.  If the new big brother or sister is under the age of 5, I recommend adding a lifestyle Sibling Add-On Session. This can be added as an extension of your newborn session and takes place in your home within a week of your studio session. A Sibling Add-On Session allows your older “littles” to be kiddos and move freely in their environment where they are most comfortable while getting adjusted to their new role!

I LOVE MATERNITY PHOTOS almost as much as I love newborn photography. A maternity session can be bundled to a newborn session for just an additional session fee. Your maternity images will be held until after your newborn session is photographed, and you will be able to view them all during one in-person ordering appointment. The sooner, the better! You may think it’s early in your pregnancy to start thinking about booking newborn photography, but the truth is planning ahead is always best! Newborn sessions are limited each month and are typically reserved several months before the baby arrives. That way, you don’t miss your opportunity for those precious tiny moments that are captured within the first 10 days of life!

Our children likely won’t be using “the cloud” or Facebook when they’re older. I know, it’s a strange thought for our current world! There is no way for us to predict exactly what they’ll be using, but we do know that tangible keepsakes will stand the test of time. Prints and products have survived the test of time since the very start of portrait photography. They linger for generations, passed on as our own mark in the world for our children and grandchildren. 

I believe in creating beautiful, tangible artwork that will remain in your family for generations. My goal is to get your images off the computer and that USB that’s sitting in the drawer. Your memories of your loved ones deserve to be on the walls of your home where you can enjoy them everyday.  This is your family’s story. And that’s a powerful reason to have tangible keepsakes in your home. Digital files may be purchased when pairing with tangible products. Matching social media sharing files of purchased print products will be provided upon your request. 

We know that any great product or service is not cheap. Anything of high quality is an investment, including great portrait photography. I pride myself in offering top-quality heirloom photographic art and only the best products available to professional photographers in the industry.  Your newborn’s photographs will represent one of the most special times in your whole life. I want to provide you with images and products that you will have to look at and remember this time every day for the rest of your life.

Custom portrait photography is one of the very few investments you can make in something that will truly be around long beyond your lifetime—and quite possibly the only one that will allow you to remember something so special forever. Clients can expect to invest any amount north of $999 on a selection of luxury products such as Italian (acrylic and canvas) wall art, custom fine-art framed prints, heirloom quality albums, and mounted prints.

Preparing and planning for your portrait is easy and stress free! I’m here to guide you every step of the way. I’ve learned a few things over the years that have helped me to be able to provide you with the best possible portrait experience. Your first step is to fill out my contact form or give me a call. If sending a message, you can expect a phone call from me, so please make sure to fill out the best time of day to reach you by phone! I’ll answer any questions you have for me, and we’ll set up a time for you to come to my studio for an in-person consultation.

The purpose of an in-person consultation is to plan all the details of your session to ensure we create the images you will love most. We’ll preview keepsakes and art products to gain a better understanding of your personal style and preferences. I even suggest grabbing a few cell phone snapshots of any walls in your home where you might like to hang portraits. I’ll explain in the next step below!

You will get to see a slideshow of your portraits during your Viewing and Ordering Appointment about 2 weeks after your session. I will have you come to my studio where you will see your images for the first time. Your images will be viewed on a large TV screen in a slideshow.

Once we have viewed your images, I will help you with all of your final selections on images and products that I have custom designed especially for you. This is where the snapshots of your home walls will come into play! I can show you what your images will look like right on your own wall! I will take all the stress out of deciding where you’ll display your new wall art by using specialized computer software to show you exactly how your images will look and fit on your walls. Whether you have small spaces or larger ones, every home will have a space to fit your most favorite images on your walls.

This is the most exciting part, so please bring all decision makers of your images to this appointment!

Because quality is very important to me, expect 4–6 weeks before I deliver your order to you. I promise the wait is worth it! Upon delivery, I will help you hang your art in your specially chosen wall spaces if you wish!
